CO-OP Announces New President & CEO, Michael Cancilliere.

North Dighton —Joyce Faria, President & Chief Executive Officer of Cooperative Production, Inc. (“CO-OP”), a Taunton-area non-profit agency supporting adults with disabilities, is retiring after four decades of service. Ms. Faria was a talented and committed leader whose many contributions helped to solidify the agency into a trusted organization assisting close to 400 individuals and their families.

After an extensive executive search lead by CO-OP’s Board of Directors, CO-OP’s Chairman Raymond C. Pelote, Esq., is pleased to announce that Michael Cancilliere, a resident of Barrington, R.I., joins the agency as its new President and Chief Executive Officer on October 25.

“Michael has a vast amount of experience and knowledge stemming from his leadership roles at Meeting Street, the Groden Network, and About Families, LLC. He has served those agencies as President and CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Director. In each position, Michael has improved the functioning of those agencies and put them on a path for success. Given his leadership experience, I believe that Michael will pick up the baton and continue CO-OP’s upward trajectory for years to come.” according to Attorney Pelote. He further added, “Michael’s experience and leadership qualities will serve CO-OP well in an ever-changing social services environment. We look forward to an exciting future!” Over the coming weeks, Ms. Faria and Mr. Cancilliere will work together ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of service.

Mr. Pelote and the CO-OP Board of Directors welcome Mr. Cancilliere and are pleased to introduce him to the community as the agency continues to provide essential day and residential services to individuals with disabilities.
