Day Services
Cooperative Production’s community day programs offer a variety of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries who have diverse interests and support needs. These services are individualized and include interest-based options for skill-building and personal development. Activities focus on community participation through recreational, social, and volunteer opportunities.
Our day program services are administered by experienced managers, qualified specialists, and well-trained staff and are supported through a comprehensive array of healthcare and clinical services, including on-site nursing and psychology support, as well as occupational, speech, and physical therapies.
Community Based Day Programs
Funded and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services, Cooperative Production’s community based day programs offer a host of activities and skills training for individuals whose interests may or may not include employment. With an emphasis on personal vision and goals, these services focus on enhancing independence and self-esteem through meaningful involvement in our local communities.
Employment supports are also available in these programs, offering vocational assessments, skills training, and job placement services for individuals considering part-time employment.
Additionally, these services offer various options to participate in performing arts and other creative activities and our Dighton location is home to the agency’s unique and acclaimed music component, Music 4 CO-OP.
Day Habilitation Programs
Funded by Mass Health, Cooperative Production’s CARF accredited day habilitation programs offer an additional menu of services to individuals, many of whom may require more intensive and structured levels of support. Many individuals in these programs rely on our comprehensive menu of health care and clinical services to maintain their optimum health and physical well-being. Programs are designed to support quality-of-life choices and goals for personal fulfillment by strengthening skills through preferred activities while providing needed support and assistance. These services are developed and monitored by qualified interdisciplinary team members including clinicians, healthcare supervisors, and professional program staff.
