Health Care Services
Skilled and caring healthcare professionals oversee a wide array of health and wellness services, including managing and distributing medication and implementing treatment protocols for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries who have complex medical needs. These same support services have allowed many individuals to attend Cooperative Production’s day programs who would have otherwise remained home due to health restrictions. As well, Cooperative Production’s experienced team of RNs and LPNs provide both general and individual-specific staff training related to the wellness and safety of the individuals we support.
Our Director of Health Services and residential nursing staff coordinate health services among different providers and treatment disciplines while helping residents maintain healthy lifestyles. Additionally, these nurses coordinate and monitor the medical care for those choosing to stay at home for the treatment of significant illnesses.
On-site nursing coverage is available at our day program locations and assigned residences. On-call nursing support is available in all agency programs.
